Why do the girls on my floor often get an urge to run down the hall shrieking like banshees?
Nevermind, that's a loaded question that has far too many answers that can go far too many places.

Heyyyy that happens on my floor too! Except it's not just girls. Gotta love the Humanities floor... Haha, hope all is well otherwise.
One word: alcohol. ;)
If it makes you feel any better, they do that on my hall on occassion as well.
They do that here too. Except, since my floor has the only lounge in the building that hasn't been converted into a dorm, all the guys come up here too, and they run down the halls, too. What fun.
ahh it is nice to know it is a universal problem! And with the feedback from the lovely ladies who live in co-ed dorms or on co-ed floor, I think we can safely say that the obnoxious people who keep going on about gender relation problems at ND cannot claim this phenomenon to be one of them!
It is also eliminates the claim of "well that's what Notre Dame will do to you!" ...or even Catholic schools. No, it is much broader than that.
Mary Liz - I just wanted to let you know that I changed the address to my blog. Annoying? I know. Sorry. : )
