I can't claim to have known Tara well, but she was there everyday after school. No matter how late I stayed because of whatever club was meeting that day, I'd always come down to find her in the library or Bird Room. She'd always smile even though she'd been patiently waiting for ages, often by herself as others would leave for home. Occasionally the exchange of "hi" or "hey" would become "how's everything?" She was always there, and now she's gone.
In paradisum deducant te Angeli; in tu adventu suscipiant te martyres, et perducant te in civitatem sanctam Ierusalem. Chorus angelorum te suscipiat, et cum Lazaro quondam paupere æternam habeas requiem.
Pie Iesu Domine, dona ea requiem. Dona ea requiem sempiternam.
Pie Iesu Domine, dona ea requiem. Dona ea requiem sempiternam.
May angels lead you into Paradise; may the martyrs receive you at your coming and lead you to the holy city of Jerusalem. May a choir of angels receive you, and with Lazarus, who once was poor, may you have eternal rest.
O sweet Lord Jesus, grant her rest; grant her everlasting rest.
O sweet Lord Jesus, grant her rest; grant her everlasting rest.
