St Timothy

In commemoration of St. Timothy, whose feast is celebrated today, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the fact that he was a fairly young man, younger than St Paul or their other coworkers. He had a lot handed to him, and it would seem he did a pretty good job.

As the "Sober Sophomore" I would also like to remember St. Paul's advice to him:

"Stop drinking only water, but have a little wine for the sake of your stomach and frequent illnesses" Tim 5:23
